Ibiza Extrusion 40x40

The Ibiza tile is made at a brickyard on the Belearen.

The machine-shaped tiles are extruded from a string press and fired in a modern tunnel kiln.Next to the modern factory is still the old workshop.Here the tiles are formed in wooden molds as in the past and then dry for months in drying halls.Every so often the historic kilns are started up again to bake everything.

By machine, the sizes vary from 20x20x1.5 to 40x40x2.4 and oblong 10x20x1.5 and 14x28x1.5. Hand formed involves stones of 11.5x24x4 and 14x28x4 and tiles up to 46x46x4.

There is only 1 color that ranges from beige to pink.

The Ibiza tile is for indoor use.

With the Ibiza tile, you must first see what is in stock unless you can wait many months.For transportation, you should count on about two weeks.

We recommend applying a stain repellent after installation and then further cleaning with a natural soap.

Like all of our terracotta collection, these tiles are made of local natural clay fired in a kiln.Since energy is the most expensive resource, firing is done as economically as possible, preferably in the summer.Rejected tiles are crushed and recycled for the next production.
